WHITELOCK COMMUNITY FARM

For almost a decade community members and neighbors have created a space where food justice, urban farming and community come together at Whitelock Community Farm. Built on the years of investment by Black elders in Reservoir Hill, a group of nine community residents from Reservoir Hill came together formally launch Whitelock Community Farm in what had once been a vibrant corridor in the heart of the community.  Since that time, the farm has blossomed into a project that has provided fresh, healthy food for hundreds of community residents, sparked a green movement along Whitelock Street, and created local jobs for community members and neighborhood youth. 

 

At the end of the year we ask our community to support us by making donations to help the farm thrive so that we can feed and support our community.
